Features:
- Fail-safe digital output FTA (24 Vdc, 8 channels)
- The field termination assembly module FS-TSDO-0824
- The FTA module has a universal snap-in facility for standard DIN EN rails
The FS-TSDO-0824 Field Terminal Module (FTTM) is the interface between the system interconnect cable SIC-C-12 and external field wiring (screw terminals).
Eight channels of a pair (redundant pair) of 10201/2/1 modules can be connected to the FS-TSDO-0824 module via the system interconnect cable SIC-C-12. The FTTM module uses a universal snap-on mounting method, is compatible with standard DIN EN rails, and is equipped with screw terminals for connecting field wiring.
The FS-TSDO-0824 Honeywell Fail-safe digital output FTA may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The FS-TSDO-0824 operates based on an industrial digital output drive and electrical isolation control mechanism. After receiving digital control signals from a higher-level control system (such as a PLC or DCS), the module decodes and isolates these signals through internal logic circuitry before driving output-stage power switching devices (typically transistors or relays) to achieve on/off control of field-executed equipment.
Safety-Critical Actuators: Directly control solenoid valves, relays, and shutdown valves in processes with high integrity requirements.
Emergency Stop (ESD) Loops: Serving as output interfaces to immediately cut off or start power to safety-critical equipment during process deviations.
Alarms and Indicators: Drive industrial warning lights, sirens, and status indicators for personnel warning systems.
Petrochemical and Power Industries: Widely used in safety instrumented systems (SIS) in refineries, chemical plants, and power plants to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
