The four-processor unit is the core of the safety manager, responsible for controlling all system operations. The QPP-0001 module reads I/O input signals and executes controller files created by the user in a graphical function logic diagram (FLD). The execution results of the controller files are then transmitted to the output interfaces.

In a safety manager configuration employing redundant controllers, two QPP-0001 modules operate synchronously via a dedicated redundant communication link between the two control processors. Continuous testing of the safety manager hardware by the QPP-0001 modules ensures the safety of process control and provides comprehensive diagnostics for the system and process equipment.
