Features:
- Backplane Expansion Cable Unit
- Rockwell automation Expansion Cable Assembly
- 2-meter Backplane Expansion Cable specifically designed for the ICS Triplex AADvance fault-tolerant control system
The AADvance system consists of the AADvance controller, external operator workstations, field connections, power supply, and external network connectivity. Its flexible design allows it to meet a variety of business needs.
The AADvance controller is designed for functional safety and critical control applications, providing a flexible solution for small-scale applications. The system can also be used for safety functions, as well as applications that are not safety-related but critical to business processes. The AADvance controller is particularly suitable for emergency shutdown, fire, and gas detection and protection applications because it provides a system solution with integrated distributed fault tolerance.
The T9310-02 ICS triplex Backplane Expansion Cable may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The controller is designed and validated according to international standards and is certified by independent certification bodies for functional safety control devices and by UL for hazardous environments. The controller consists of a series of compact, plug-in modules that are easy to assemble into a system. A system can include one or more controllers, along with combinations of I/O modules, power supplies, communication networks, and user workstations.
AADvance systems using this cable are primarily used in safety-critical and high-risk industries, including:
Oil & Gas: Emergency Shutdown (ESD) and Fire & Gas (F&G) detection systems.
Power Generation: Control and monitoring of turbines and critical power plant infrastructure.
Chemical/Petrochemical: Managing high-integrity safety instrumented functions.
Marine: Integrated control and safety systems for offshore and marine vessels.
