Features:
- Surface mount fuse holders and fuse assemblies (SMF Omni-Block, surface mount fuse holder 154 010)
- The rated current is 10 A and the rated voltage is 125 V
- This is a 10A fast-blow fuse kit (replacement output fuse kit) designed specifically for AADvance and Trusted safety control systems
The T9902 (whose full name usually includes Littelfuse 154 010 surface mount fuse module) is also a core spare part of Rockwell Automation's ICS triple redundancy safety control system. Its official definition is: Standard 10A fast-blow output fuse kit. It is primarily used in Field Terminal Assemblies (FTAs) in AADvance systems, such as the T9851 and T9851/2, and critical Triple Redundancy (TMR) Digital Output Modules (DOs).
Furthermore, this component plays a crucial role in maintaining hardware fault tolerance (HFT) and system uptime in high-safety-level production environments. In ultra-high safety level (SIL 3) applications such as emergency shutdown (ESD), fire and gas systems (F&G), or boiler management systems (BMS), hardware damage caused by a short circuit in any channel can lead to widespread unplanned downtime. The T9902 utilizes an OEM-certified industrial-grade corrosion-resistant alloy and a high-standard ceramic construction, maintaining extremely high conductivity even in extreme industrial temperature and humidity environments ranging from -40 °C to +85 °C. This ensures that unaffected channels remain highly available during hot-swappable field actuator replacements, thus guaranteeing the communication integrity and structural safety of the entire fault-tolerant control system.
The T9902 ICS triplex Output Fuse Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
1.Solenoid Valve Failure: The solenoid coil on a pneumatic emergency shut-off valve (ESDV) or sprinkler valve may gradually short-circuit due to insulation aging.
2.Instantaneous Isolation: In the event of a short circuit, the T9902 fuse on the TA or FTA will blow immediately (fast-blow). This sacrificial fuse mechanism cuts off power to only the specific valve, preventing reverse current flow and avoiding the burning out of thousands of dollars worth of digital output (DO) modules (such as T9451 or T9851).
3.Preventing System Cascade Tripping: If field conductors are crushed or submerged in water (resulting in a hard ground fault), an unblown circuit can cause a significant voltage drop across the entire 24V DC power rail of the rack.
4.Maintaining System Availability: The T9193 fuse safely disconnects a faulty circuit within microseconds. By immediately disconnecting the faulty loop, the remaining safety systems can continue to operate normally, avoiding costly plant-wide false trips.
5.Restoring Fuse Circuits After On-Site Repair: After on-site technicians repair short-circuit actuators or replace damaged field junction boxes, instrumentation technicians use the T9902 kit to replace blown fuses in the junction boxes, restoring the safety interlock circuit to an "active" and normal operating state.
6.Preventative Inventory Maintenance: During factory overhauls, the engineering team proactively uses 20-piece T9902 kits to replace aging or deteriorated surface-mount fuses in high duty cycle circuits, thereby reducing the risk of false tripping due to fuse fatigue during factory operation.
The T9902's built-in Littelfuse fuse strictly adheres to the following industrial-grade electrical standards:
1.UL 248-14: Fully compliant with US low-voltage fuse standards, serving as a "fast-response" protection element to ensure highly predictable and instantaneous circuit disconnection in the event of overcurrent or short circuit.
2.CE Certification: Passes EU Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and related electrical safety tests, allowing for safe distribution and use in automated control systems within the European Economic Area.
3.RoHS Compliance: Complies with the Hazardous Substances Restriction Directive, ensuring its fuse core and mounting base (SMF Omni-Block) are environmentally friendly and free of harmful heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and cadmium.
