The TC-205-02-12M5 is an I/O cable specifically designed for Trusted systems, manufactured by ICS Triplex, a subsidiary of Rockwell Automation. As a core connection component in high-safety, triple-redundant (TMR) critical control systems, it is specifically designed for safe output loops, establishing physical electrical connections between Trusted digital or analog output modules (such as the T8451 24Vdc output module, T8461, etc.) and the field terminal assembly (FTA) board within the cabinet.
The TC-205-02-12M5's outer sheath is made of advanced low-smoke halogen-free (LSOH/LSLH) highly flame-retardant material, meeting the stringent testing requirements of international IEC standards. In the event of a fire, it significantly reduces the release of toxic fumes and corrosive gases. To address potential signal attenuation and noise interference risks over a 12.5-meter transmission distance, the cable features a high-density braided shield and is equipped with dedicated safety grounding wires at both ends.
In addition, the outer layer is reinforced with a wear-resistant and shock-absorbing nylon protective sleeve, and both ends are equipped with anti-crack technology to ensure that critical linkage shut-off and valve drive commands maintain zero distortion and extremely high data integrity during long-distance transmission. The TC-205-02-12M5 hardware is typically used in emergency safety shutdown (ESD) systems in the oil and gas and refining industries, as well as fire and gas (F&G) protection systems on critical production lines.
