Features:
- The AADvance core logic development platform conforms to the IEC 61131-3 international standard
- It typically runs on Build 2.1.2195 or later (part of the AADvance V2.x system ecosystem)
- It is officially certified by TÜV Rheinland and fully supports the development of security logic that meets the highest SIL 3 security integrity level
The ICS Triplex T9087 is Rockwell Automation's core engineering development software suite (AADvance Workbench 2) for critical control and process safety systems. It is typically deployed as an authorized control module on the master engineering workstation or used in conjunction with a corresponding hardware key. Designed for high-risk industries such as oil and gas, large-scale chemical, and nuclear power, this device provides comprehensive maintenance support for AADvance redundant safety controllers based on the IEC 61131-3 standard, including control logic programming, distributed architecture configuration, online variable enforcement, and safety lifecycle maintenance.
To ensure continuous operation and system-level maintenance of industrial networks, the T9087 provides robust field-level hardware diagnostics and one-click reset capabilities for the entire safety automation network. This system module integrates a physical fault reset management mechanism. When a multi-controller network experiences a non-continuous transient fault due to external interference, an engineer with the appropriate password permissions can initiate a reset command via workstation or physical mechanism.
The T9087 ICS triplex AADVANCE WORKBENCH 2 may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

1. Eliminate hardware dependencies: The T9087, based on the 2.x architecture, eliminates the risk of project interruptions due to damage or loss of network USB dongles (e.g., T9084U) or standalone physical dongles in industrial environments, a problem present in older versions.
2. Enhanced system binding and diagnostics: In Workbench 2.x, the software can work more closely with secure workstations (e.g., T9090 SISW) and OPC servers (T9030), thus resolving a potential issue in older versions where SNCP (Secure Network Communication Protocol) binding behavior changed without notification during controller data export/import (.vsc or .pxf files).
1. Large-scale, multi-workshop distributed safety instrumented systems (SIS)
2. Enterprise-level multi-engineer team collaborative development and joint commissioning
3. Critical process control meeting the highest functional safety standard (SIL 3 critical process safety)
4. Modernization and generational upgrade of existing AADvance legacy systems (version 1.x)
