Measuring Chain & System Integration
Features:
- Base model designation for the multi-hole high-temperature industrial accelerometer line
- Specifies a factory-attached, hermetically welded 6.0-meter (6000 mm ±150 mm) integral mineral-insulated (MI) hardline cable
- The cable is wrapped in a flexible stainless steel protection hose to guard against heavy mechanical impacts and turbine compartment abrasions
Vibro-Meter's core business is providing high-end condition monitoring and machinery protection systems for critical industries worldwide, including aerospace, power generation, heavy industry, and the oil and gas sector. Its product line encompasses high-performance dynamic pressure sensors, vibration sensors, bearing vibration monitoring probes, and fully automated data acquisition and diagnostic systems.
Its systems reliably acquire extremely subtle physical change data in harsh field environments, such as ultra-high temperatures above 500°C, extremely high mechanical shocks, and potentially explosive atmospheres. These complex physical signals are then transformed into intuitive machine condition analyses through central monitoring software.
The CA306 144-306-000-321 Vibro-Meter High-temperature piezoelectric accelerometer may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Because the CA306 outputs high-impedance static charge (pC/g), its raw signal must be processed by an external conversion matrix: Signal Conditioner: This conditioner must be connected to a downstream charge converter, typically a Meggitt IPC704 signal conditioner. It converts the unprocessed static charge into a 4 to 20 mA linear current loop or a low-impedance current loop. Monitoring Node: The processed loop is directly connected to a terminal rack (e.g., Bently Nevada 3500 Series) or a distributed factory automation system (e.g., ABB System 800xA) for structural trip logic protection and predictive machinery logging.
