The assembly provides the motor and pinion input for axis 3 of the matched IRB 6640 configuration.
Robot-specific mechanical, electrical and calibration interfaces must all be confirmed before substitution.
The 3HAC033203-001 ABB Axis 3 Robot Motor with Pinion is supported through ABB robot service channels and may also be supplied by Moore Automated for installed-base maintenance.

Compatibility is established from the complete manipulator type, robot serial number, motor colour and mechanical interface.

The replacement procedure must preserve the documented gear engagement, seals, attachment hardware and cable routing.

Only trained personnel should replace the motor assembly. ABB product-manual safety, repair and calibration instructions apply.
