Overview Manuals Core Technical Performance Metrics Crucial Installation Precautions

Features:

  • 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes
  • 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System
  • 330102 3300 XL 8 mm Probe, 3/8-24 UNF thread, with armor
This system provides an output voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive surface being measured, and can measure static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. Its primary applications include vibration and position measurement in hydrodynamic bearing machinery, as well as key phase reference and velocity measurement.

Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward compatible and interchangeable4 with other nonXL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.

The 330102-03-20-10-02-05 Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
Bently Nevada 330102-03-20-10-02-05 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes Manuals(Datasheets), Link Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
Linear Sensing Range: Operates accurately within a linear displacement range of 2.0 mm (80 mil).
System Scale Factor/Sensitivity: Provides a standard diagnostic output of 200 mV/mil (7.87 V/mm) when used with the compatible 3300 XL proximity sensor.
Physical Materials: The probe tip is made of high-density polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and the threaded housing is made of robust AISI 304 stainless steel.
Thermal Performance: Operates stably in extreme machine environments, with an operating temperature range of -35°C to +200°C (-31°F to +392°F).
Because this sensor model is only 1.0 meter (-10-) long, it cannot be directly connected to the machine monitoring cabinet on its own. It must be used with the matching 9-meter or 5-meter system extension cable to achieve the precise electrical tuning length required for the proximity sensor.

Technical notes

The Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8mm eddy current displacement sensor probe (330102-03-20-10-02-05) has technical specifications that focus on precise electrical boundaries, enhanced mechanical strength, and stringent explosion-proof compliance for high-frequency vibration and displacement monitoring.
