330103-00-03-10-02-02 is a Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm eddy-current proximity probe configured for metric forward mounting. It provides non-contact shaft displacement information as part of a 1.0 m 3300 XL proximity transducer system.
Use the probe for radial vibration and axial position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines. The 3300 XL 8 mm system also supports appropriate Keyphasor reference and speed measurement applications.
Probe type: 3300 XL 8 mm metric forward-mount probe without armor. Mounting thread: M10 × 1. Unthreaded length: 0 mm. Overall case length: 30 mm. Total probe length: 1.0 m. Cable: 75 Ω FEP-insulated triaxial. Connector: miniature ClickLoc coaxial without connector protector. Probe tip diameter: 8.0 mm. System linear range: 2 mm (80 mil), approximately 0.25 to 2.3 mm. Nominal scale factor for a standard 1 m system: 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil) ±5%. Recommended radial vibration gap: approximately 1.27 mm (50 mil), corresponding to -9 Vdc. Standard probe temperature range: -52°C to +177°C.
The official ordering structure identifies 330103 as the metric M10 × 1 probe without armor; 00 specifies 0 mm unthreaded length, 03 specifies a 30 mm case, 10 specifies 1.0 m total length, and the first 02 specifies a standard cable with miniature ClickLoc connector and no protector. One-meter systems do not use an extension cable and can be paired with a 330180-10-00 panel-mount 1.0 m Proximitor Sensor. Confirm the complete suffix against the equipment nameplate and project documentation before ordering.
Install with no more than 15 mm thread engagement, maintain at least a 25.4 mm cable bend radius, and tighten mating 3300 XL ClickLoc connectors finger-tight. Published performance values are based on an AISI 4140 steel target; other target materials require application-specific calibration. Verify probe mounting, target material, system length, and hazardous-area requirements before commissioning.
