Bently Nevada 3500/22M 288055-01 is the standard Transient Data Interface spare that connects a 3500 machinery-monitoring rack to compatible data and diagnostic software. It combines the rack-interface functions with a communication processor and occupies the dedicated position beside the rack power supplies. Compatible M-series monitor data are collected through the rack and passed to the selected Ethernet interface. Static data collection is included, while waveform and high-resolution transient capabilities depend on additional channel enabling. The module provides a front USB-B service port, status indicators and rack configuration controls. Copper and fiber Ethernet interfaces are available through separate rear I/O selections. The TDI supports data access and configuration but is not in the critical protection path; correct rack hardware, rear I/O, service cable and software capability remain essential to a matched replacement.

Match the rear 146031-series interface to the existing copper or fiber connection. The front TDI number alone does not specify the installed Ethernet medium or relay-contact option.
Static values are collected as standard. Waveform and transient functions require the correct enabled channels; verify the existing monitoring software and licensed capability before replacing the interface.
A RIM-to-TDI change involves both front and rear assemblies. The manufacturer requires removal of the old RIM I/O before inserting the TDI; follow its sequence and USB isolation guidance.
