Part number 3500/65 145988-02 is a 16-channel temperature monitoring master module in the Bently Nevada 3500 series. As critical condition monitoring and asset protection system hardware for large rotating machinery such as steam turbines, compressors, pumps, and fans, it strictly complies with the American Petroleum Institute (API) 670 Equipment Protection Specification.
In terms of signal reception and detection performance, this module provides 16 fully independent channels, supporting direct connection to resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) (three-wire/four-wire) or isolated thermocouples (TCs, such as E, J, K, and T types) signals. After conditioning the input temperature signal, the module performs a high-precision comparison with preset "alarm" and "hazard" dual-level limits via the 3500 rack configuration software.
When an abnormal temperature is detected, the module immediately triggers the system relay card to perform an interlock trip, thereby preventing bearing burnout or mechanical overheating damage. From an architectural integration and redundancy reliability perspective, 145988-02 is a host module.
