Product Information:

The 3500/93 135785-01 is an LCD module manufactured by Bently Nevada, specifically designed for its 3500 series machinery protection systems. As a key visualization window for the system, it provides operators with real-time, intuitive information, including operating data from all monitors, relays, and keypad modules, system health status, and alarm status. This module conforms to API 670 (American Petroleum Institute) standards and is commonly used for monitoring critical rotating machinery in heavy industries such as petroleum, chemical, and power generation.

The 3500/93 135785-01 features a unique hardware configuration: a 640 x 200 dot-matrix FSTN non-backlit reflective LCD display, making it particularly suitable for well-lit industrial environments. Its maximum power consumption is only 5.6 watts, ensuring excellent cost-effectiveness and stable operation. The display panel integrates multiple clear LED status indicators (such as OK, Alert, Danger, etc.), allowing engineers to quickly determine whether equipment has malfunctioned or exceeded safety thresholds during data refresh (typically less than one second).

In terms of installation and system architecture, the 3500/93 135785-01 offers exceptional flexibility, supporting multiple deployment methods, including panel mounting, 19-inch standard rack mounting, and freestanding wall mounting. In practical applications, it must be used in conjunction with a Display Interface Module (DIM, such as the 135799-01), which is inserted into slot 15 of the 3500 rack via a connecting cable. It acquires backplane data via an internal high-speed network with a standard transmission distance of up to 100 feet, significantly simplifying mechanical fault diagnosis and routine inspections in industrial environments.

Features:

  • 3500/93 Display Unit, non backlighted
  • 3500/93 System Display
  • Ideal for well-lit central control rooms or standard industrial environments
The 3500/93 System Display is designed to meet the requirements of American Petroleum Institute Standard 670 and provide local or remote visual indication of all 3500 Machinery Protection System information residing in the rack. Up to two displays can be connected to each 3500 rack and each display requires one empty 3500 rack slot for insertion of its corresponding DIM. When the display is not face-mounted, the cable connection between the DIM and the Display can be made from the front of the 3500 rack or from the I/O module at the rear of the rack. Applications that require a cable longer than 100 feet must use the External Power Supply and Cable Adapter.

Applications that use the back lighted Display Unit must use the External Power Supply. There are two External Power Supplies: one for connection to 115 Vac and the other for connection to 230 Vac. The External Power/Terminal Strip Mounting Kit eases installation of External Power Supplies. The External Power/Terminal Strip Mounting Kit is designed to fit in the Independent Mount Housing. The Kit streamlines installation of an External Power Supply in both the Independent Mount Housing or a user supplied housing.
