- Bently Nevada 3500/42E Vibration Monitor
- 4-channel monitor that accepts input from proximity and seismic transducers
- Bently Nevada Asset Condition Monitoring Vibration Monitor Module
The 3500/42E Vibration Monitor is a 4-channel monitor that accepts input from proximity and seismic transducers, conditions the signal to provide various vibration and position measurements, and compares the conditioned signals with user-programmable alarms.
The user can program each channel of the 3500/42E using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform any of the following functions: Radial Vibration; Thrust Position;Differential Expansion;Shaft Absolute;Eccentricity;Acceleration;Velocity.
The 3500/42E 285691-01 Bently Nevada Vibration Monitor may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The primary purpose of the 3500/42E monitor is to provide:
1. Machinery protection by continuously comparing monitored parameters against configured alarm setpoints to drive alarms.
2. Essential machine information for both operations and maintenance personnel.
Each channel, depending on configuration, typically conditions its input signal to generate various parameters called “static values”. The user can configure Alert setpoints for each active static value and Danger setpoints for any two of the active static values.
- Mechanical Protection: Continuously compares vibration and position data against user-defined alarm settings to trigger automatic shutdown relays, preventing catastrophic machine failure.
- Condition Monitoring: Provides operators and maintenance teams with real-time data for diagnosing issues such as rotor imbalance, bearing wear, and shaft misalignment.
- Legacy System Retrofit: Acts as a bridge to upgrading 3300 systems, allowing the use of modern 3500 Series software and diagnostic functions in older chassis.
