- Fully configurable inputs for use as alarms or a range of different functions
- Synchronising and load sharing with load demand start/stop
The DSE86xx MKII series is designed to provide different levels of functionality through a common platform. This gives generator OEMs greater flexibility in selecting controllers for specific applications. The DSE8660 MKII module is also designed to provide different levels of functionality through a common platform. This gives generator OEMs greater flexibility in selecting controllers for specific applications.
The controller includes synchronization and load balancing functions, as well as the necessary protection functions required for such systems. Users can also view system operating parameters via a text LCD display. The DSE8660 MKII module is designed to monitor mains (utility grid) power and automatically start/stop one or more generator sets equipped with the DSE8610 MKII controller based on the mains (utility grid) power status.
The DSE8660 MKII Deep Sea Generator Controller Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The DSE Configuration Suite PC software allows modification of selected operating sequences, timers, alarms, and operating orders. Furthermore, the module's integrated front panel configuration editor allows for adjustments to this information. Access to critical operating sequences and timers is controlled by qualified engineers and protected by security codes. Module access is protected by a PIN code. Some parameters can be changed via the module's front panel. This module features a robust plastic housing suitable for panel mounting. Module connections are achieved via locking plugs and sockets.
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS): Automatically controls the switching from mains power to generator power during mains power outages.
Uninterrupted Switching: Synchronizes the generator with the mains power before switching loads, ensuring no power outage occurs during the switching process.
Peak Shaving and Valley Filling: Enables the generator to operate in parallel with the mains power to meet peak demand, thereby reducing grid load and related costs.
Mains Output Management: Controls the amount of electricity output to the grid from systems that are allowed to supply power to the grid.
Multi-Generator Synchronization: Works with other modules (such as the DSE8610 MKII) to manage load distribution across the entire generator set.
