Features:
- Analog input module utilized in the GE Versamax series
- It features eight differential input channels and operates across a voltage range of -10 to +10 Volts DC
- Making it suitable for various applications requiring accurate signal processing
The GE Fanuc IC200ALG261 is a dedicated analog input module in the Versamax product line. This module handles DC input signals from -10 to +10 volts and supports both differential and common-mode inputs. Its eight differential channels cater to a wide range of measurement needs. The module's superior performance is reflected in its 16-bit output signal, providing high resolution for accurate readings.
Its independent power supply is provided by a 5-volt DC backplane. The module requires only 200 mA of current to operate, maintaining high efficiency even in harsh environments. Furthermore, it offers excellent safety, withstanding 1500 volts AC for up to one minute.
The IC200ALG261 General Electric Analog input module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Signal processing is crucial, and its input resolution of up to 0.3125 mV ensures accurate capture of even minute voltage changes. During installation, it uses shielded twisted-pair cable to help minimize electromagnetic interference. Additionally, its minimum input impedance is 100 ohms. Status indicators (a green OK LED illuminates) provide quick and intuitive confirmation of the module's status. The module updates every 7.5 milliseconds to ensure stable and reliable readings.
Precision Voltage Monitoring: Sensors used to measure output differential voltage signals, such as pressure sensors and high-precision electronic scales.
Industrial Process Control: Commonly used in pressure sensor monitoring in automotive factories and in high-precision temperature control systems in food processing.
Noise-Sensitive Environments: Its differential input significantly reduces common-mode noise, making it ideal for environments with high electromagnetic interference.
Distributed I/O Systems: Commonly used in large manufacturing plants for remote I/O output via network interfaces such as PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, or Genius bus.
