DC-TDIL01 is a Honeywell non-redundant 24 V digital-input termination assembly (IOTA) for Series C installations. It provides the field-wiring and mounting interface for the matching input module; Honeywell lists it with CC-PDIL01 in its Universal Marshalling compatibility table. The IOTA and electronic input module are separate items, so the installed module and system release must be checked before replacement.
The DC-TDIL01 separates the field-termination role from the electronics that acquire digital input states. In the documented CC-PDIL01 arrangement, field wiring terminates at the IOTA and the associated input module processes the 32 discrete channels. The nominal signal is 24 VDC, and the published electrical thresholds describe that matched input assembly rather than an independent function of the terminal board. This distinction matters when a maintenance order requires only the termination assembly instead of a complete IOM-and-IOTA set.
For an installed system, establish the applicable Honeywell hardware generation and documentation revision before deciding on a replacement. The Universal Marshalling specification lists DC-TDIL01 with CC-PDIL01, while other Series C guide revisions contain different DC-prefixed module associations. Those listings must not be combined into an unrestricted interchangeability claim. Record the actual IOM label, terminal assignments, field-power arrangement and non-redundant mounting position, then use the corresponding installation instructions to verify the replacement and test the affected plant signals.
DC-TDIL01 is the termination assembly, not the CC-PDIL01 electronic input module. Honeywell's EP-DOCX-SCA-R300 compatibility table lists that combination for DI-24 service. Confirm the actual IOM marking and system documentation revision before ordering; a matching field voltage alone is insufficient to establish compatibility with another module generation.
For the CC-PDIL01 combination documented in EP03-495-500, the DI supply range is 18 to 30 VDC. The sensing limits are at least 13 VDC or 3 mA for ON, and no more than 5 VDC or 1.2 mA for OFF. Check field-device leakage and wiring voltage drop against the applicable input specification, not merely a nominal 24 V label.
The DC-TDIL01 arrangement is non-redundant; DC-TDIL11 is separately listed as a redundant IOTA. Use the terminal assignments and field-power instructions for the exact installed assembly. Before disturbing wiring, record channel labels and isolate the affected circuits under the site's approved procedure. After fitting, prove the ON and OFF states of each affected input and review module diagnostics.
When requesting a DC-TDIL01 replacement, state whether the requirement is for the IOTA alone or an assembly including the input module. Provide the installed IOM number and the cabinet drawing or document revision used for that position. This resolves an important ordering distinction: a terminal assembly with the correct field-voltage description is not proof that a different module generation can be fitted. Include a readable board label and connector view if the installed hardware cannot be removed for inspection.
Before accepting a quotation, confirm the required terminal hardware, mounting components and supplied condition of the non-redundant assembly. Compare the terminal and connector arrangement with the installed cabinet rather than relying on the overall outline alone. If existing terminal plugs or mounting parts will be reused, identify them explicitly in the order. The written quotation should distinguish the termination assembly from any separate IOM, cabling or accessories, so the delivered scope matches the planned maintenance work.
