Features:
- Safe digital input FTA (24/48 Vdc, NAMUR, 16 channels)
- Field termination assembly module
- The FTA module has a universal snap-in provision for standard DIN EN rails
The TSDI-16UNI Field Terminal Assembly Module serves as the interface between the System Interconnect Cable SICC-0001/Lx and external field wiring (screw terminals). The FTA module features a universal snap-on mounting method suitable for standard DIN EN rails, and screw terminals for connecting field wiring.
Sixteen channels (divided into two groups of eight, with a 250 mA fuse at the common end) can be connected to the TSDI-16UNI module via the System Interconnect Cable (SICC-0001/Lx). This cable inserts into the SIC connector on the FTA module and connects to the (redundant) SDIL-1608 module.
The FC-TSDI-16UNI Honeywell Safe digital input FTA module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The FC-TSDI-16UNI operates based on an industrial-grade discrete signal acquisition and electrical isolation processing mechanism. The module receives switching signals from field devices (such as limit switches, proximity switches, or relay contacts) through its input channel, detects and judges the input voltage/current status, and converts it into standardized logic "0/1" digital information.
General-Purpose Sensor Interface: Provides a universal interface for various digital input types, including PNP, NPN, dry contact, and NAMUR sensors.
Safe Shutdown Systems: Deployed in critical loops to monitor the status of limit switches, pushbuttons, and safety sensors in oil, gas, and power plants.
High Availability Monitoring: Supports redundant configurations by connecting a pair of SDIL-1608 modules, ensuring continuous monitoring even if one controller path fails.
Industrial Automation: Used for automating electromechanical processes, reading limit switches and process variables in the automotive, steel, and water treatment industries.
