The Trusted 40 Channel Analogue Output or Digital Output Field Termination Assembly (FTA) is designed to act as the main interface between the Trusted Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) 24 Vdc Digital Output Module T8451, Trusted Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) 24/48 Vdc Digital Output Module T84611 or Trusted TMR Analogue Output Module T8480 and the field device.
The Trusted 40 Channel Analogue Output or Digital Output FTA
T8850C provides termination for a maximum of 40 output field loops. The 40 channels are arranged in five groups each comprising eight identical channels.
The T8850C ICS Triplex 40 Channel Analog or Digital Output FTA Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Trusted 40 Channel Analogue Output or Digital Output FTA T8850C is designed to be mounted on either of the TS32 or TS35 DIN rails in the horizontal or vertical positions as required.
Due to its high-density design, the T8850C is primarily used in safety instrumented systems (SIS) for continuously operating industries:
Emergency sprinkler systems: Drives high-current fire suppression solenoid valves and strobe light networks via digital loops.
Process regulation and control: Transmits precise 4-20mA positioning data to pneumatic control valves in refineries.
Mechanical isolation: Transmits trip signals to heavy-duty industrial circuit breakers, compressor bypass valves, or gas isolation valves.
