System Loop Integration
Features:
- Delivers a minimum output of 750 pC/bar (approx. 52 pC/psi)
- It features patented internal acceleration compensation technology to prevent structural engine vibrations from contaminating the true acoustic pressure data
- Built using specialized VC2 single-crystal piezoelectric material operating in a compression mode
Vibro-Meter's core function is to provide high-end condition monitoring and machinery protection systems for critical industries worldwide, including aerospace, power generation, heavy industry, and oil and gas. Its product line encompasses high-performance dynamic pressure sensors, vibration sensors, bearing vibration monitoring probes, and fully automated data acquisition and diagnostic systems.
Its systems can reliably acquire extremely subtle physical change data in harsh field environments (such as ultra-high temperatures above 500°C, extremely high mechanical shocks, and potentially explosive environments), and can transform these complex physical signals into intuitive machine condition analyses through central monitoring software (such as the VM600 series system).
The CP232 143-232-000-222 Vibro-Meter High-sensitivity piezoelectric dynamic pressure sensor may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

According to official records from the Parker Meggit Hazardous Products Registry, this specific suffix configuration has been certified for the following European explosion-proof categories: Intrinsically safe: Classified as II 2 G Ex ib IIC T6...560°C Gb according to LCIE 02 ATEX 6105 X certificate. Non-sparking (Zone 2): Individually rated as II 3 G Ex nA IIC T6...560°C Gc according to LCIE 09 ATEX 1039 X certificate.
Because the CP232 outputs a raw, high-impedance static charge analog signal, it cannot be directly connected to standard control systems. It relies on a multi-component measurement chain:
Signal Conditioning: The charge signal is transmitted via an insulated cable to a local charge amplifier, typically a Meggitt IPC707 signal conditioner. (Note: Due to high impedance limitations, the CP232 sensor is incompatible with standard IPC707 diagnostic cards when using integrated mineral-insulated cables longer than 0.3 meters.)
Rack Protection System: The converted low-impedance linear current loop connects directly to the factory machinery protection box, such as a VM600 rack-mounted MPC4 card, for automatically recording machinery emergency trips and shutdown data.
