The Bently Nevada 330102-00-79-05-02-05 is an industrial-grade 3300 XL 8mm proximity probe featuring a fully threaded imperial interface and an integrated stainless steel flexible sheath. As part of the Baker Hughes 3300 XL series, this probe is used for non-contact measurement of static shaft position (thrust) or dynamic vibration in high-speed rotating machinery.
The probe has a standard linear sensitivity of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil) and a typical measurement range of 2 mm (80 mil). It provides a stable signal output even in heavily polluted environments and operates over a temperature range of -35 to +177 °C. It is typically used in conjunction with the 3300 XL preamplifier for precise online monitoring of axial displacement, radial vibration, and critical phases in critical rotating machinery such as steam turbines and compressors.
