Features:
- 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes
- 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System
- 330103 3300 XL 8 mm Probe, M10 x 1 thread, without armor
This system provides an output voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive surface being measured, and can measure static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. Its main applications include vibration and position measurement in hydrodynamic bearing machinery, as well as critical phase reference and velocity measurement.
Each 3300 XL 8mm transducer system component is backward compatible and interchangeable with other non-XL models of the 3300 series 5mm and 8mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5mm probe, suitable for applications where the 8mm probe is too large to install.
The 330103-02-08-50-11-00 Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
Linear Measurement Band: Accurately captures motion within a 2.0 mm (80 mil) linear sensing target area.
Standard System Nominal Sensitivity: When used with the compatible 3300 XL proximity sensor, it produces an output of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil).
Physical Components Material: The probe tip is made of high-strength polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and the threaded housing is made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
This probe comes with a 5.0-meter (-50-) cable designed for direct connection to a 5-meter Proximitor sensor without the need for an extension cable. Adding an extension cable to this 5.0-meter probe will increase the total electrical length of the system to 10 meters or more. Doing so will completely disrupt eddy current calibration, causing the proximity monitor to read incorrect gap values or triggering a "faulty" system error.
If you are replacing an existing probe on the housing or setting up a new monitoring loop, please contact us and we will assist you in finding a matching 5-meter Proximitor part number or the torque specifications for installing the metric housing sleeve.
