Features:
- 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor
- 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System
- DIN Rail Mount Option (also backward-compatible with traditional 4-hole panel mounting configurations)
The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor incorporates numerous improvements over previous designs. Its physical packaging allows you to use it in high-density DIN-rail installations. You can also mount the sensor in a traditional panel mount configuration, where it shares an identical 4-hole mounting “footprint” with older Proximitor Sensor designs. The mounting base for either option provides electrical isolation and eliminates the need for separate isolator plates.
The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor is highly immune to radio frequency interference, allowing you to install it in fiberglass housings without adverse effects from nearby radio frequency signals. The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor’s improved RFI/EMI immunity satisfies European CE mark approvals without requiring special shielded conduit or metallic housings, resulting in lower installation costs and complexity.
The 330180-X1-05 MOD:145004-94 Bently Nevada 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

1.Specialized centrifugal compressors: Used in upstream gas lift systems or corrosive chemical environments (e.g., acid gas handling), their compressor rotors are forged from special alloys to resist stress cracking caused by hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).
2.Corrosive chemical and slurry pumps: Multistage process pumps used to handle strong acidic or alkaline chemicals; standard shafts are susceptible to corrosion, thus requiring special surface treatments.
3.Industrial and aerospace gas turbines: Integrated within high-temperature turbine nacelles, their special superalloy rotor coatings or thrust rings require custom eddy current drive tuning to prevent crosstalk or inaccurate scaling factors.
4.Radial shaft vibration monitoring: Continuously acquires high-frequency shaft displacement data to detect early dynamic faults, including shaft misalignment, rotor imbalance, structural loosening, and critical fluid film instabilities such as oil film vortices or whiplash.
5.Axial thrust position interlock: Tracks minute axial displacements of the turbine or compressor rotor relative to the stationary housing as a primary emergency shutdown interlock trigger mechanism to prevent catastrophic mechanical contact between the rotor and stator.
6.Key phase angle and velocity tracking: For machined grooves or keyways on special alloy shafts, precise timing pulses are generated with each rotation, enabling the centralized monitoring system to calculate accurate velocity and filter phase-synchronized vibration data.
