Features:

  • 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System
  • 330192 3300 XL 8 mm ETR Probe, 3/8-24 UNF thread, with armor
  • 3300 XL 8 mm Extended Temperature Range (ETR) Proximity Probes
The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward compatible and interchangeable4 with other nonXL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.

The 330192-00-68-05-05 Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm Extended Temperature Range (ETR) Proximity Probes may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Because this probe uses a 0.5-meter built-in cable, it must be connected to the matching 3300 XL 8mm extension cable to build a complete system:
To complete a standard 5.0-meter system configuration, this probe must be connected to a 4.5-meter extension cable.
To complete a standard 9.0-meter system configuration, this probe must be connected to an 8.5-meter extension cable.
