- 3500/32M 4-Channel Relay Module
- The 4-Channel Relay Module is a full-height module that provides four relay outputs
The four-channel relay module is a full-height module providing four relay outputs. Any number of four-channel relay modules can be installed in any slot on the right side of the transient data interface module. Each output of the four-channel relay module is independently programmable to execute voting logic.
Each relay on the four-channel relay module contains alarm-driven logic. The alarm-driven logic is programmed using AND and OR logic and can use alarm inputs (alarm and danger states), abnormal states, or a single PPL from any monitoring channel or any combination of monitoring channels in the rack.
The 125720-02 Bently Nevada 4-Channel Relay Output Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The Bently Nevada 3500/32M four-channel relay module operates based on a digital logic drive mechanism. It receives alarm status signals in real time from other monitoring modules (such as displacement, vibration, speed, or temperature modules) via the backplane bus of the 3500 rack. The module's internal processor performs complex Boolean operations on these input signals according to the preset logic drive array (such as AND, OR, or 2oo3 voting logic) in the configuration software. Once the operation result meets the trigger condition, the module immediately drives its physical relay coil to actuate, outputting dry contact signals to the external control system (such as a PLC or DCS) through the closing or opening of the contacts, thereby achieving automatic shutdown or alarm protection of the mechanical equipment.
Machinery Protection and Shutdown: Automatically trips or shuts down critical rotating machinery (e.g., turbines, compressors, pumps) when vibration levels exceed safety limits.
Industrial Alarms: Activates external audible and visual alarms (warning lights, sirens) to alert operators to "alarm" or "hazard" situations.
Process Control Integration: Connects the 3500 system to a distributed control system (DCS) or PLC to coordinate plant-wide safety responses.
Hazardous Area Monitoring: Designed for hazardous area systems and functional safety systems (SIL level), provided that relay voltages are maintained within certified limits (e.g., 30Vdc/30Vac).
