- Bently Nevada 3500/50M Tachometer Module
- I/O Module with Internal Terminations
- 2-channel module that accepts input from proximity probes or magnetic pickups to determine shaft rotative speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction
The Bently Nevada 3500/50M Tachometer Module is a 2-channel module that accepts input from proximity probes or magnetic pickups to determine shaft rotative speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction. The module compares these measurements against user programmable alarm setpoints and generates alarms when the setpoints are violated.
The Tachometer Module is programmed using the 3500 Rack Configuration software. The following configuration options are available: Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming and Speed Band Alarming/Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming and Zero Speed Notification/Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming and Rotor Acceleration Alarming/Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming and Reverse Rotation Notification.
The 133442-01 Bently Nevada I/O Module with Internal Terminations may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The Tachometer Module is programmed using the 3500 Rack Configuration software. The following configuration options are available:
Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming and Speed Band Alarming
Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming and Zero Speed Notification
Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming and Rotor Acceleration Alarming
Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming and Reverse Rotation Notification
1.Shaft Speed Monitoring: Continuously tracks speeds up to 99,999 RPM via two independent channels.
2.Rotor Acceleration Tracking: Measures the rate of change of speed to protect the machine during critical start-up and shutdown phases.
3.Reversal Detection: Alarms the operator if process backflow or phase reversal causes shaft reversal to prevent serious damage to the compressor or pump.
4.Regulated Keying Signal: Converts raw pulses into phase-referenced keying signals and routes them through the 3500 backplane to synchronize vibration measurements on adjacent modules without requiring a separate keying card.
