Three mounting options
Features:
- 3500/05 System Rack To Mount
- Prevents accidental contact with live backplanes, reducing the risk of electric shock
- Typically made of anodized aluminum (black or industrial gray), it can withstand harsh industrial environments
Use the 3500 system rack to install all 3500 monitoring modules and power supplies. This rack allows for close-packing of the 3500 modules, facilitating communication, and accommodates the power supply required by each module. The 3500 system rack is specifically designed to house all 3500 monitoring modules and rack power supplies.
It allows the individual 3500 modules to communicate with each other and can distribute power to each module as needed. The power supply and rack interface module must be installed in the leftmost rack position. The remaining 14 rack positions (7 for mini racks) can be used to install any combination of modules.
The 3500/05-02-05-00-00-00 Bently Nevada 3500 System Rack may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The 3500 Series rack mount offers three mounting options:
1.Panel mount.
This rack format mounts to rectangular cutouts in panels, and secures to the panel using clamps supplied with the rack.Wiring connections and I/O modules are accessible from the rear of the rack.
2.Rack mount.
This rack format mounts the 3500 Rack on 19-inch EIA rails.Wiring connections and I/O modules are accessible from the rear of the rack.
3.Bulkhead mount.
This rack format mounts the rack against a wall or panel when it is not possible to access the rear of the rack.Wiring connections and I/O modules are accessible from the front of the rack.The 3500/05 Mini-Rack is not available in this format.
