Features:
- Sub-Fractional AC Drive module
- 1 HP (0.75 kW) sub-fractional AC variable frequency drive
- Designed for low-horsepower applications like conveyor belts, wood cutting, and wire drawing machines
The VFD007L21A is a compact, sub-miniature AC motor driver from Delta Electronics, designed specifically for low-horsepower (1HP/0.75kW) applications. This driver features a built-in EMI filter and RS-485 communication interface (supporting Modbus), achieving efficient frequency control and reliable operation through multi-speed control (M0-M3 terminals) and various protection mechanisms (overvoltage, overload, etc.).
Its operating principle is based on AC-DC-AC inverter technology, rectifying single-phase AC power into DC power. A microprocessor then precisely controls the inverter circuit, adjusting the output frequency and voltage to accurately drive the motor and achieve flexible acceleration/deceleration control.
The VFD007L21A Delta AC Drive module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
