Features:
- ANALOG OUTPUT MODULE
- HIMA HIMatrix Safety-Related Controller
- Designed specifically for distributed, time-critical industrial applications
Its primary function is to perform fault-safe monitoring of critical processes, ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment. The system supports both digital and analog I/O modules, enabling precise connectivity with sensors, actuators, and field devices in complex industrial environments such as chemical plants, power plants, and oil and gas operations. By combining real-time monitoring with configurable safety logic, HIMatrix allows operators to effectively implement safety procedures while maintaining process efficiency.
Its modular design allows for the integration of multiple I/O and communication modules, providing redundancy, scalability, and easy adaptation to evolving process requirements. The system also integrates advanced diagnostics, self-tests, and continuous health monitoring of I/O channels, simplifying maintenance, supporting predictive fault detection, and reducing unplanned downtime. HIMatrix communicates seamlessly with higher-level control systems and SCADA systems, providing operators with detailed insights into safety and process performance.
The F60AO801 HIMA ANALOG OUTPUT MODULE may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The system employs a distributed safety logic architecture, with each module continuously performing self-diagnostics while communicating with a redundant controller network. Safety inputs from sensors are continuously evaluated according to preset safety logic. When a hazardous situation is detected, the corresponding output is activated in a fail-safe manner to control the actuator or shut down the process. Redundant communication channels and cross-checking of module signals ensure that the system remains operational even in the event of a hardware failure, thereby guaranteeing operation in compliance with Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and providing reliable protection for critical industrial processes.
Remote Monitoring (SCADA/DCS/PLC): Its primary use is to transmit real-time electrical data (such as line current, voltage, and active/reactive power) to remote control rooms or local automation controllers.
Variable Process Control: It can be used in FlexLogic™ programs to provide feedback signals to external devices, such as adjusting cooling fan speeds or transformer tap switches based on measured loads.
Traditional System Integration: It allows modern digital relays to interface with older analog instruments (such as circular chart recorders or panel gauges) that require physical current loops.
