The PDC- FTA24P power distribution cables transfer the 24Vdc from the PDB- 0824P power distribution board to individual 24Vdc devices inside the cabinet enclosure, such as fan units and FTAs. Unlike the PDC-FTA24, the PDC-FTA24P includes screws for connection. Both can be used on the PDB0824 as well the PDB- 0824P. They are fully interchangeable because PDC- FTA24 is obsolete. The PDC-FTA24Pis equipped with a connector on the PDB-0824 side, and no connector on the device side.
The FS-PDC-FTA24P cable, with its superior physical structure and material design, boasts excellent industrial-grade durability and superior anti-interference performance, making it a key component for ensuring zero voltage drop in critical control circuits. The standard cable length is 2 meters, and its core consists of two 16 AWG (approximately 1.31 mm²) high-purity multi-strand copper conductors, with an outer layer of high-temperature resistant, highly insulating polyethylene material, ensuring stable operation even under extreme conditions.
The FS-PDC-FTA24P Honeywell Power distribution interconnect cable may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Within the safety instrument cabinet, the FS-PDC-FTA24P provides short-range power isolation to ensure continuous operation of critical field hardware:
FTA Power: It provides a clean, local 24VDC loop power supply to the FTA for handling power distribution signals from field transmitters, emergency valves, or fire alarm control panel electronics.
Isolation Management: A three-level rated wiring scheme ensures physical isolation between branch circuits, preventing a single short circuit on the FTA panel from overloading the main PDB-0824 distribution layer.
