Features:
- AC Digital Input Modules
- Digital Input Module (16-channel, 100V - 120 V AC, Isolated)
- The AC Digital Input Modules receive 16-channel 100 V AC or 220 V AC ON/OFF signals
The Yokogawa ADV141-P10 S1 is a 16-channel AC digital input module designed specifically for CENTUM VP systems, primarily used for detecting the switching status of field devices. It can receive AC input signals with a rated voltage of 100V to 120V AC and is commonly used to monitor industrial signals such as limit switches, relay contacts, or motor operation feedback.
This module supports dual redundancy configuration, ensuring continuous signal acquisition during critical tasks. Even if the primary module fails, the backup module can seamlessly take over. The "P10" designation indicates the use of pressure clamp terminal connections, simplifying installation and maintenance and providing strong shock resistance; while the "S1" suffix indicates enhanced environmental resistance or specific functional optimizations.
The ADV141-P10 S1 YOKOGAWA Digital Input Modules may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The module's internal circuitry first limits and rectifies the input current, then drives an optocoupler to achieve electrical isolation, completely separating the high-voltage AC circuit in the field from the low-voltage digital circuit of the system. When the input voltage exceeds the threshold, the optocoupler conducts and converts the signal into a logic level. Finally, the built-in processor identifies the status and transmits it to the field control unit (FCU) via the system bus, completing the conversion from physical AC voltage to digital switching data.
- Discrete Signal Monitoring: Receives on/off status signals from 24V DC field devices (e.g., limit switches, proximity sensors, and buttons).
- Real-Time Process Control: Response time of less than 5 milliseconds is crucial for high-speed monitoring and control requiring instantaneous signal detection.
- High Availability Industries: Widely used in industries such as oil and gas, power generation, and chemical manufacturing to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
- System Redundancy: Supports dual redundancy configurations, ensuring continuous system monitoring even if one module fails.
