The probe, model 330104-04-09-50-02-05, is an 8mm pre-amplified eddy current displacement sensor from the Bently Nevada 3300 XL series.
As the core front-end hardware of a critical industrial rotating machinery condition monitoring system, it utilizes the non-contact eddy current principle to achieve long-term continuous monitoring of shaft vibration, axial displacement, key phase quantity, and rotational speed in critical equipment such as large steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, and industrial fans by accurately measuring the minute gap between the probe end face and the shaft surface online.
The preamplifier converts the minute gap changes between the probe end face and the shaft surface into a standard 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil) dynamic voltage signal in real time and continuously feeds it to the Bently 3500 monitoring cabinet or the factory's DCS system. This provides high-precision basic data support for main unit interlocking trip protection and early fault diagnosis.
