Overview Manuals General Information Ordering Information System Integration Note

Features:

  • 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes
  • 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System
  • 330104 3300 XL 8 mm Probe, M10 x 1 thread,with armor
The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward compatible and interchangeable4 with other nonXL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.

The 330104-00-03-50-02-00 Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Because this probe is 5.0 meters long, it must be bypassed by a standard mid-range extension cable. It plugs directly into the proximity sensor of a 5.0-meter system to maintain mandatory 5-meter total electrical system loop tuning. Inserting an extension cable here would interfere with the 200 mV/mil sensitivity calibration and affect your monitoring system.

Technical notes

The Bently Nevada 330104-00-03-50-02-00 is an 8mm reverse-mounted eddy current probe conforming to API 670 3300 XL standards, designed for high-precision radial vibration and axial displacement monitoring in fluid diaphragm bearing machinery. The probe features an M10×1 threaded interface with a 0mm unthreaded section and a total length of 30mm. It comes with a 5.0m armored cable and a ClickLoc connector, providing a 2mm linear measurement range over an ambient temperature range of -51°C to +177°C.
