These accelerometers are suitable for critical mechanical applications requiring the measurement of housing acceleration, such as gear meshing monitoring. The Model 330400 accelerometer is designed to meet the American Petroleum Institute (API) 670 standard for accelerometers. It has a peak amplitude range of 50 g and a sensitivity of 100 mV/g. The Model 330425 accelerometer is similar, but has a larger peak amplitude range (75 g) and a sensitivity of 25 mV/g.

The 16710-15 Bently Nevada Interconnect Cable may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

If housing measurements are performed for comprehensive machine protection, the applicability of the measurements to each application should be considered. Most common machine failures (imbalance, misalignment, etc.) originate from the rotor and cause increased (or at least altered) rotor vibration. For any individual housing measurement to effectively protect the entire machine, it must be ensured that rotor vibration is accurately transmitted to the bearing housing or housing, and more specifically, to the sensor mounting location.
Machine Condition Monitoring: Connect sensors (such as the 330400 or 330425 accelerometer) to Bently Nevada 3300 or 3500 Series monitoring racks.

Harsh Industrial Environments: Designed for environments where cables are exposed to physical stress, moisture, or chemical contaminants. Stainless steel armor provides superior mechanical protection against abrasion and crushing.

EMI/RFI Shielding: A braided shield protects low-level vibration signals from electromagnetic interference, crucial for accurate diagnostics in power plants and refineries.
