The IC695CPK330-ACAS is a high-performance PACSystems RX3i controller kit designed by GE Automation (now Emerson) for complex, high-speed industrial automation systems. As the "brain" of the control system, it features a 1.1 GHz dual-core processor and 64 MB of user memory, handling large-scale logic execution and data logging. This kit is typically sold bundled with a power module or dedicated firmware (suffixed -ACAS) to ensure critical data is preserved during power outages and to meet application-specific safety or availability standards.
The IC695CPK330-ACAS integrates an Ethernet port supporting multiple communication protocols, including PROFINET, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet/IP, enabling seamless connectivity with distributed I/O, frequency converters, and human-machine interface (HMI) systems. Its high versatility allows users to program using various programming languages, such as ladder logic (LD) and structured text (ST). Its high-density design and support for hot-swappable hardware make it ideal for industries requiring zero downtime, such as water treatment, power generation, and oil and gas processing.
The IC695CPK330-ACAS General Electric PACSystem RX3i Processor module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The IC695CPK330-ACAS employs a high-speed backplane architecture, utilizing a PCI-based bus for near-instantaneous communication with I/O modules. The CPU operates in a cyclic scanning manner: first, it reads input data from the field, executes compiled user logic in its microprocessor, and then updates the output status to the device. During this cycle, it simultaneously manages background communication tasks and diagnostic self-tests to ensure the control loop remains accurate and synchronized with the physical process.
Manufacturing Automation: Suitable for high-throughput assembly lines, robot coordination, and quality assurance systems requiring precise timing and real-time monitoring.
Energy & Utilities: Widely used in smart grids, power generation monitoring, and renewable energy facilities (wind/solar) due to its high reliability and environmental adaptability.
Critical Infrastructure: Commonly used in water and wastewater treatment for managing filtration and chemical dosing; also frequently used in transportation systems such as railway signaling and traffic management.
Hazardous Environments: ATEx and IECEx certified, suitable for Class I Zone 2 hazardous locations where explosive gas atmospheres may be present.
