8-port 10/100 base copper with one 100 Mbps 100 base FX fiber-optic uplink, LC-type connection, 256KB buffer with 4K MAC address capacityRedundant power supply inputs for reliability. Furthermore, the positive input and output terminals of the TB1 and TB2 ports on this IS420ESWAH1A device are also clearly marked.
The IS420ESWAH1A device is essentially a rugged metal enclosure with multiple standard Mark VIeS Ethernet ports for connecting to other Mark VIe or Mark VIeS series products. For ease of troubleshooting, the LED indicator functions on the IS420ESWAH1A device are illustrated with factory-printed diagrams located next to the respective LEDs.
The IS420ESWAH1A GENERAL ELECTRIC IONET Switch Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

• Longevity of parts availability for future network expansion
• Backwards compatibility to legacy systems
• Higher performance for real-time control systems of today
Store-and-Forward Architecture: Utilizes at least 256 KB packet buffers and 4K Media Access Control (MAC) address capacity, providing optimal data reliability and preventing frame collisions.
Flow Control Processing: Supports IEEE 802.3x flow control, automatically issuing pause packets to manage bandwidth demands and maintaining low and predictable latency in critical mechanical networks.
Surge Protection: Integrated soft-start circuitry limits input inrush current to below 200% of normal operating load.
