Honeywell 51401635-150 is a conformally coated High-Performance Communications/Control card for the Honeywell High-Performance Process Manager (HPMM). It combines the communication processor, control processor, processor memory, HPMM global-bus interface, redundancy interface, UCN interface connection and front-panel diagnostics required by the HPM card set.
In an HPMM card file, the Communications/Control card works with the High-Performance I/O Link card and the HPM UCN Interface module. Honeywell specifies communications with the Local Control Network through the Universal Control Network, communications with I/O Processors through the I/O Link, separate and shared processor memory, and HPMM redundancy control.
The Honeywell 51401635-150 occupies the first left-most HPMM card-file position, with the UCN Interface module mounted in the connector beneath it. Front indications include power and status LEDs, UCN A/B activity indications and a four-character diagnostic display. Honeywell 51401635-150 is the conformally coated High-Performance Communications/Control card used in an HPMM card set. Commissioning: After installation, check the power and status indicators, the UCN A and B communication indications and the four-character diagnostic display. For redundant HPMM configurations, confirm synchronization and normal control operation before returning the process to service.
