Sensor circuit
Features:
- EMT6 thermistor overload relay for machine protection
- Thermistor overload relay for machine protection, 230V50/60Hz, with lock
- Damp heat, constant, to IEC 60068-2-78; Damp heat, cyclic, to IEC 60068-2-30
It is primarily used to monitor the temperature of critical components such as motor windings, bearings, gearboxes, and coolant, preventing motor overheating damage caused by high-frequency starting, frequent braking, voltage instability (overvoltage/undervoltage), or heavy-load operation.
As an advanced protection core component, this model features a self-locking reclosing lockout function, effectively preventing the motor from automatically restarting after an overheating fault is triggered.
The EMT6-DB 066401 EATON Thermistor overload relay may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
